The first contact in the official level was carried out with the Turkey visit of Tuva's President, Şerig-Ool Oorjak together with a committee in the month of July in 1994. Tuva Committee was received by the President, Süleyman Demirel and the proper interest and respect were shown. The President of Tuva organised a press conference when he returned to his country- I participated in this press conference in person- and stated that "Our future depends on our young people who are trained in Turkey". The committees most of which are composed of the members of parliament that have participated in the General Assemblies for the Friendship, Brotherhood and Cooperation of Turkish States and Nations could not participate in the last two general assemblies (96,97). This situation results from the gradual worsening of the living conditions in Tuva. There is a single handicap in front of the full independency of the Republic of Tuva that possess its own constitution, flag, president, parliament, government and national anthem today. The lack of self-sufficiency in economic aspects. It seems too difficult for the State of Republic of Turkey to disregard Russia and to help and assist our brothers in Tuva that probably are in the most difficult turning point of their history. In this case, the duty is on the shoulders of the brave businessmen who are spread in every part of the world. Cooperation can be achieved with the businessmen in Tuva in respect of the fields of leather processing, furniture, bakery, and agricultural devices. The small statues that are made from the stones suitable for embroidery in Tuva can be sold all over the world.

The embroidery of these stones and the production of various animal statues from these stones are the works that the artists of Tuva can do best. These statues, we suppose, will be the most favoured ones and can be marketed easily in Turkey. Due to the difficulty of transportation in respect of the underground resources and the purchase of living animals, it would be difficult to establish cooperation in these fields. In case that the Turkish Airlines will organise charter flights to the central places of Siberia, it would be a great help for the establishment of our relations with the Turkish communities in those regions. Cooperation can be maintained not only with the Turkish College in Kizil, but also the other Turkish high schools and colleges in the other places. Thus, the proper ways and issues for trade canbve learned from the people living there.
