Ihsidi rulers were also the protectors of the scholars and the artists. The famous characters that were protected were the historians, Ibn el-Dâye, el-Kindî, Abdullah el-Ferganî and the poet, Mütenebbi. Furthermore, Ihsidi State had had some activities in respect of architecture although these activities did not create glorious works. Mohammed b. Togc had a garden constructed in Ravza Island called as "Muhtar" and a government office (dar el-imare) built in the region. Kafur had constructed palaces, two mosques, one hospital and Kafuriyye gardens in the capital city.
