Fahreddîn Behram-shah (1162-1225) from the Kemah-Erzincan branch had dominated his country in a proper manner and Erzincan had become an important centre of culture and trade in his period. Meanwhile, Mengucuklu Bey principality was submissive to Turkey Seljuk State.

Since Davud Bey had been on the side of Seljuk Sultan Kilic Arslan II, he was killed by Danismendli Yagibasan who was his enemy in the year of 1162. Fahreddin Behramshah who replaced him was the son-in-law of Kilic Arslan II. He dominated the country for 63 years and within this period, Erzincan had become a commercial and cultural centre.

When Behramshah died in the year of 1125, his son, Davudshah resided in Erzincan and his other son, Mehmed resided in Karahisar and they dominated the country from these cities. When these cities were captured by the Seljuk Sultan, Alaeddin Keykubat in the year of 1128, the Kemah-Erzincan Branch of this bey principality was abolished.
