As a result of the military, commercial and religious relations that started to develop since the middle of the century IX, Turks started to become Muslims in large groups step by step. We can say that most of the people in the cities that were dominated by Samani State had adopted the Islam in the second half of the century IX. However, the conversion of religions with great figures had started in the century X. As a result of Talas victory of Nasr b. Ahmed and the activities of Isficab beys, the Turkmen ruler that resided in the city of Ordu adopted the religion of Islam and started to pay tax to Isficab beys. Those that were the first to adopt Islam in a crowded group were Turkmens that resided in the district of Mirki that was located on the south of Balasagun and Talas among all other Turkish tribes.
