The great warrior king of the Mongolia named as Temucin who had been born in the years of 1960 had taken his first step for his adulthood at the very age of nine upon the death of his father who was the chief of the tribe. While he was in adolescence, he started to attain the submission of the disorganised Mongolian warriors and he acquired great fame with the brave raids towards the neighbouring nomadic tribes. Therefore, he attained the support required for his identification as a "Khan" among the Mongolians. He fairly reinforced his government within the regions of his rival tribes in the year of 1200.

1206 Timucin was elected as the Great Khan In the Grand Assembly or the grand meeting, Timucin (Jernghiz Khan) was elected as the powerful ruler or the "Oceanic Ruler" that was superior to all the Turkish- Mongolian people living in all the deserts and steppe lands of the Middle Asia in the year of 1206. Jenghiz had established a powerful army from the nomadic groups. Jenghiz divided his forces into divisions under the command of his most faithful supports in his retinue that would become the strongest generals of him and the tribal leaders that had provided an oath of fidelity. Upon the mobilisation of the new charismatic leader, his army was developed gradually like a war machine with the capacity enough to invade the entire world.

1209-1218 Pioneer Victories

Jenghiz easily defeated the Tangut Kingdom of Xi Xia in the northwest border of China in the year of 1209 and made them to become slaves. He organised a military expedition in order to abolish the Chinese Sovereignty in the Northern China in the year of 1211. He captured the capital city of Zhongdu in the year of 1215. The Kara Hitay Empire surrendered to the Mongolian government in the west in the year of 1218.

1221 Muslim Resistance against Mongolians

The caravan of merchants sent by Jenghiz Khan in the year of 1218 had been put to the sword in the border of Harezm. When the Muslim shah killed the peacemaker envoy of the Mongolians, he subjected himself, his people and his country to the bloodiest genocide. The attempt of the Mongolian army for the massacres including the cities of Samarkand, Herat and Merv was initiated in Ulrar and Bokhara in the year of 1219. Upon the resistance of the people of the city, mass groups were put to the sword. Despite these massacres, the artist with significant capacities were taken to the Mongolian lands in order to provide help for the establishment of the Mongolian civilisation of Jenghiz.

1226 Raid of Tangut City

While the entire Western Turkestan was under his control, Jenghiz repeated his wrath towards the Xi Xia kingdom that refused to give soldiers for the movement of the Mongolians in the west. In the cruel and violent war, the Tangut administrators and the celebrities were put to the sword together with all the citizens. As a result of the defeat of Xi Xia Province whose founder had been from Tibetan race, the province was nearly eradicated. Towards the end of the raid, Jenghiz became ill in the capital city of Ningxia and he died on the date of 18th August.

While the military leaders of Jenghiz carried the corpse of Jenghiz back to Mongolia, they killed everybody that they encountered on the way. It has been believed that he was buried in a place near a mountain within the environs of Onan River. His grave cannot have been found yet. Then, the Mongolians lived without a khan for 2 years.

1229 Ogeday's Enthronement as the Great Khan

the inheritor of Jenghiz, the Mongolians accepted Ogeday who was the most kindhearted man among four sons of Jenghiz from his first wife. In the first years of his domination, Ogeday completed the invasion of Jin. He declared the state of war against the Southern Song Kingdom; but he attempted for a new military campaign of conquests along the Western Asia.

1235 Development of Karakorum

the years following the Jin defeat in 1234, Ogeday turned the poor-looking administrative centre of his father that was Karakorum, the Capital City of Mongolia into a state with magnificent buildings and the governmental palace surrounded with high walls. This city was built by the artists that were taken prisoners from the provinces as a result of the pillages, tributed and rackets. Its magnificent buildings had attracted the interest of the envoys ad merchants from all over the world.

1241 Invasion of Europe

Upon the defeat of Russia in the year of 1238, the Mongolian army undermined Europe with two-branched raids towards Poland and Hungary in April 1241. Even the Teuton chevaliers were not so powerful as the Mongolian cavalrymen. Upon the news about the death of Ogeday that was obtained in December, the invaders retreated to the steppe lands and Austria got rid of them thereof.
