As for the political and historical aspects of the Golden Horde State: This khanate reminds of the Khazar Khanate from several aspects since it had established dominion in the Eastern Europe. It has established political, economical and cultural relations with various states as required by its geographical position that it conquered. As well as the establishment of the relations with the Byzantine, Egypt Mameluke State and the Ottomans, it had also established a close relationship with particularly Lithuania-Poland State. There was a constant conflict and competition between the Golden Horde State and the Ilhanli State due to the domination in the southern region of Caspian Sea and Harezm. Therefore, a friendly relationship was established between the Golden Horde State and the Egypt Mameluke State. The envoys and merchants from both countries travelled between these states reciprocally. The invasion of Tamburlaine provided the continuation of the good relations between the Golden Horde State and the Ottoman sultans. This friendship was present in the period of Second Murat and Fatih Mehmet. It is verified with the records sent to Murad II by Ulug Khan that had been one of the khans of the Golden Horde State that established the Kazan Khanate and the records sent to Fatih Mehmed by the following khans. Upon the gradual development of Moscow princedom and their dangerous position that posed a threat, an alliance was tried to be established between the Golden Horde State and the Lithuania-Poland against the Russians.

The Golden Horde State that become weakened due to the various factors could not recover after the three respective attacks of the Lamed Tamburlaine (in the course of these expeditions, the city of Saray was entirely destroyed and its people were annihilated). As a result of the civil turmoil that burst out among the members of the dynasty, the gradual reduction of the trade activities, and the reinforcement of their neighbours, the Golden Horde Khanate lost power day by day. The last great khan of the Golden Horde State was Timur and Toktamis Khan who was contemporary with Bayezid (1376-1391). Pursuant to him, the khans in the "City of Throne" (in Saray) had frequently been replaced and there were severe struggles among them. In the year of 1480, Seyyit Ahmet who was the Saray Khan forced Ivan III who was the great prince of Moscow to subdue to his domination and tried to establish the older dominion in the region. However, he did not have adequate forces and there were some dangerous events that took place behind him. Therefore, he had to withdraw along the Don River without the outbreak of a pitched battle. Afterwards, the domination of the Golden Horde State that had lasted in Russia for 240 years had disappeared spontaneously. In fact, the life of the Golden Horde State seemed to have come to an end. This state had vanished in the year of 1502. There were various khanates that were founded on the ruins of this khanate: These khanates were the Crimean, Kazan, Sibir, Astrakhan and Nogay Khanates.
