Mavilli (Mavili) is the name given to the Turkmen group living in Telafer in our age. In fact, Mavilli is appropriated as the name of a group belonging to Shi-Bektasi Tariquat rather than an ethic expression. However, Mavillis is a group attached to the tradition of Bektasi but absulately coming from Turkis race. Nowadays this comminity, existing in its all liveliness, has an identity bearing traditional motives of Turkish Culture, In Wandering Minstrel Literature (Asık Edebiyati), folk music tradition, social life, traditions and customs term, Mavilliler or Maviller in language of the people are deemed to be an outstandingly important community in Telafer.
