Although the climate of Turkey is mild and temperate due to its geographical position, there are significant chances among the regions due to the existence of the mountain ranges that are located in parallel to the coasts. While the coastal regions have a much more temperate climate, the plateau of the Central Anatolia experiences a climate with warm summers and cold winters with little rainfall.
