The state of affairs of Khirghiz people that collected together under the leadership of Rahmankul started to effect Turkestan that was invaded but not controlled. Soviet Russian government had increased their attacks against Rahmankul Khan and the Khirghiz people under his domination. Since the Pamir region was a strategic region located among Soviet Union-Afghanistan-China, Russia wanted to establish control in this region. Since Afghanistani government was so weak that it could not protect the Pamir region, it was indifferent against the Russian attacks. Rahmankul Khan who could not withstand the pressures that gradually increased in this negative environment led his people to immigrate to the Eastern Turkestan Pamir that was under the invasion of China in the year of 1947. While Khirghiz people from Pamir were in the Eastern Turkestan, they joined in the struggles and fights against the Chinese domination.
