The communist government established domination in China after 2 years pursuant to the immigration of Pamir Khirghiz people to the Eastern Turkestan and it suppressed the movement of national resistance that was initiated against the Chinese invasions. Upon this event, Rahmankul Khan had to retreat to the Afghanistani Pamir region again. In this return, the Afghanistani Government had welcomed the Khirghiz people with great gratitude and it gave a Regional Governorship to Rahmankul Khan. In the years, Pamir Khirghiz people led a relatively peaceful life. However, they were confined within the Vahan valley that was a narrow region of Pamir. They could not organise their big migrations that they used to do in the past. Immigration to the regions with fresh pastures in order to put their large animal herds to pasture was very requisite for their economy that was based on stockbreeding. The confinement within the Afghanistani Pamir due to the obligations resulting from the political conditions obliged the Khirghiz people to make some changes in their lifestyles. As a result of these changes, they had to use the less fertile pastures in a concentrated manner instead of widespread stockbreeding, to change the types of the herds that they bred and to establish a new trade network for the sales of their products. They accomplished all of these changes thanks to Rahmankul Khan that was an energetic and intellectual leader.
