Ulaslu Tribe is claimed to have been related to Dulkadir Community.Being one of the large tribes of Çukurova, Ulaş was the name of tribe's name.Ulas Tribe is believed to be one of the tirbe among the Varsak Groups.However; from which group they came is not known, it is predicted to be from Bayindirs.In fact, Bayindirs had the largest population in forming the community.As for Ulas's name it is speculated to have come from the Salurs.The facts, that there was Ulaş chief from Salur among Dib-Yavku's Chiefs and that Salur Kazan Bey's father's name was Ulaş are clarifying the speculations. On the other hand; Begdili Tribe having an important role among Haleb Turkcommen is stated to have 40 families in the inventery of Süleyman the Magnificient period.Among these group leading the 22nd place, Ulaslu Group is registered to have had 39 tax houses.They are also found in the deed inventery of Musul.This group consisted 18 families, 1 mücerred, 1religious man,3 muezzins, 1 pir-i fani and 500 varidats in H.932 (1526).They are registered to have had 79 individuals, 7 mücerreds and 72 couples in H.946 (1539).And they had 123 bennaks, 51 mücerreds in the periods of Murad the III.
